Like the rest of Airport Beach, the sand is soft, cool and pink. The sand along the shoreline is firm, making this a good walking beach.
This is the southern-most end of a very, very long beach. If you feel adventurous, you may want to try walking the entire length of this fabulous beach. Take lots of water, a few snacks and your camera. It may take you quite a while to walk the entire beach. Particularly if you make stops along the way to rest, swim, look for shells, do some beachcombing, watch the waves, take pictures and just enjoy the day. If this is your plan, you best plan to spend the entire day here.
