This is a long, wide beach that is certainly worth the visit. There is an old shipwreck, visible and easily accessible from the shore, just south of the entrance path to the beach. To the north is James Point. Getting there is quite a walk, but well worth the effort. If you take the time to make the walk, you’ll be rewarded with a kind of “hot tub” formation carved, by the ocean waves, right into a large rock and yet another, smaller beach just beyond this point. This beach’s beige sand is loosely packed, so for easier walking it would be best to stick closer to the shoreline where the sand is firmer and more compact.
