The Kiddie Pool is actually a part of Surfers Beach, but we give this section a special mention for those of us who are not surfers or strong swimmers, but would still like to get into the water at this popular beach. Because this section, at the North end of the beach, is well protected by a large coral rock head, it is mostly calm. There are still some pretty impressive waves that crash on the ocean side of the rock but they are dampened to ripples in the pool and so makes this a good place for kids to play.
