Often referred to as Ridley Head (which is the rocky point at the beginning of this bay), this popular beach has soft, cool, pink, powdery sand and is quite wide. The firmly packed sand makes it a good beach for those long, leisurely strolls. We are sorry to report that, since the last edition of this book, access to Salt Kettle Bay Beach, by road, has been restricted. There is a barrier across the access road declaring it as Private Property. And, as always, we encourage you to respect private property.
