Although this beach is designated as being on the Atlantic side it is actually part of a very well protected bay created by Harbour Island and Whale Point. But it can sometimes get pretty rough in the bay when there’s bad weather. If you’re a boater this bay is ideal and both this beach and the one at Bottom Harbour make excellent picnic spots.
