This beach is pretty easy to find and has a boat launch ramp, as well. The sand is cool, pink and powdery. This is the site of the old Current Club. You can still see some of the old foundations, but that’s about all that’s left of it. The settlement of Current was, of course, named for the current that flows through the cut between the mainland of Eleuthera and Current Island. It is a popular spot for experienced divers to take a drift dive pushed along by the almost constant current.
