Palmetto Point has a typical Caribbean side beach. The sand is soft and powdery, the water is shallow, calm and clear and the bottom is even and sandy. There is a concrete dock and a couple of palapas on the beach. There are frequently events going on at this beach. You may want to join in on some of the festivities hosted here.
