The settlement of Spanish Wells is bordered on two sides by some fabulous beach. The sand is white, soft and powdery. Just right for a long stroll. The water is shallow for a good distance out. This is a great place to bring small children to play in the water. Although we’ve heard people say that they didn’t find the residents of Spanish Wells to be very friendly, we have never experience that. Anyone we have spoken with has been welcoming and helpful. While you’re there, take the time to listen the residents unique accent. It’s simply a joy to hear.
